Hotchocolate cattery
Temperament:
Abyssinians are extroverted and intelligent cats.
They are not very intrusive, but they do have their own particulary elegant
way of letting their owners know exactly what they want.
they do not use their quiet voices a great deal, because on the whole Abyssinians
are not talkative.
Abyssinians, or "Aby" as they are affectionately referred to by their fans,
are real characters with very strong personalities.
They need a great deal of contact with the family to keep them happy and
will certanly pine away or protest if they are left to their own devices all day long.
They like to be part of the family and want to involed in everything that goes on
As a rule they get on reasonably well with other cats, and they can strike up
lifelong friendship with dogs.
Abyssinians are known for their intelligence and for their curiosity.
Literally everything new that is brought into the house will be extensively
investigated, and inspected, whether it is a bag of groceries from the supermarket
or a new piece of furniture.
They are also playful and adventurous.
